Val Ayers
Army Veteran | Founder, Pathfinder Readiness LLC
I served on Active Duty in the United States Army from 2004 to 2008 at Fort Drum, NY, with the 3rd Brigade (Spartans), including deployments to Afghanistan and Kuwait. I continued service in the Army Reserves from 2008–2011 with the 535th Military Police, where I supported my unit as a VA Benefits Liaison.
After military service, I worked within the Durham Veterans Health Administration across multiple programs, including OEF/OIF support, Suicide Prevention, MIRECC research, Benefits & Enrollment, Mental Health, and Traumatic Brain Injury coordination. This experience provided firsthand insight into both the strengths and gaps within veteran systems of care.
I hold an Associate’s Degree in Human Services and am licensed in North Carolina as a Certified Veteran Peer Support Specialist.
In the private sector, I worked with organizations including Randstad, Audi, and Cornerstone Building Brands, as well as consulting with a veteran-focused legal firm on medical evidence development, research, AI content, and process improvement.
My lived experience as a veteran informs PRLLC’s commitment to structure, documentation, organization, accountability, and administrative readiness. PRLLC does not provide claims preparation, accredited representation, legal services, medical services, or outcome-based support.
Pathfinder Readiness LLC was built to close that gap — providing veterans, transitioning service members, and organizations with structured, accountable, and informed support to move forward with clarity and confidence.
